First review and we're slightly disappointed to be honest.
Whilst the icing of this Greggs offering was a reasonable thickness and covered the bun well it was quite brittle and tasted very much of citrus; not a pleasant citrus flavour rather it was bitter and artificial.
The bun itself tasted plain and quite bread like and had a harder texture than we would ideally have wanted or expected. The sultanas were also quite sparse.
The glacé cherry was pleasant enough but is unable save the Greggs Belgian bun from a slightly disappointing BBBB score of 6 out of 10.
